Shahab Ghaemi-Zadeh was born 07/07/78 Ahvaz, Iran. His influences come from Mediterranean & Middle Eastern background. He immigrated to Toronto, Canada 1987 and made a change of scenery to Vancouver British Columbia in 1990. Shahab has worked at many franchised restaurants and has been interested in nutrition at a very young age. He opened a health and nutrition food store at the age of 18, although changed his direction within two years to pursue a career in cooking.

He attended VCC Culinary Arts 1999 - 2000. Once graduated his career took an exciting path. In May 2004 - November 2005 he became the chef of "The Crime Lab" which was his first chef position. In December 2005 he became the chef of "Lucy May Brown" an amazing restaurant in the greater Vancouver area. On September 2006 he became the chef at "Fiction" specializing in gourmet recipes. In February, 2007 Shahab became the Executive Chef at "Century House" a restaurant infusion of energy, style and elegance with a very beautiful heritage feel. Finally in 2008 the "Crime Lab" was reopened and Shahab was responsible for creating original Menu's & Recipes, as well as managing all the restaurant duties in which Crime Lab needed.

Now we have the pleasure to introduce Shahab as a part of the Naturally Splendid team. He will be developing many ideas towards healthy living infusing the uses of hemp at a gourmet level.
