Agreed upon deposit is submitted to The Bar Makers.
Discusion regarding parameters of product to be developed.
Specific expectations determined: Nutritional, claims, sizes, certifications, exemptions (eg no sugar).
Ingredient procurement for lab trials.
Lab samples created.
More samples created to address any costing issues.
Cost analysis if required a second time.
Recipe approval & Sign off
Premier order is manufactured, packaged, and shipped to your facility for distribution.
Revision and review of Project and Time Line with client.
Spec sheet provided to client (ingredient deck, full nutritional, recommended allergen declarations, label & packaging requirements)
In House artwork initiated if applicable
Packaging size established for sell unit, cartons, & master cases
Certification issues applied and implemented (Non-GMO, Organic, Kosher, etc)
NSE and client to approve artwork and suppliers of packaging, 3rd party review of label always recommended
All ingredients & packaging are ordered for Premier run
Premier run scheduled based on packaging and ingredient ETA
Client invited to premier run. Final quality, logistics, taste, texture issues addressed
Actual shelf life study begins
Plant trial approved formulations (Min 100 Kg finished product), to be attended by client. Discussion of Cost of plant trial and timing.
Review of plant trial, comparison to lab samples
If necessary, second trial to address any issues in the first trial run.
